Pantasy Bank: A Basic (but Beautiful) Modular for Your Brick City

The Bank! Pantasy went back to the basics with this new modular building. And I think that's ok because I have a feeling it was intentional. You won't see all the detail Pantasy is known for. This is definitely not the Toy Store, Blossom Cafe, Gift Shop, or Bavarian Tavern. There IS detail, but some may see it as bare bones compared to other Pantasy buildings.

This was likely a direct response to those who thought Pantasy designs were too over the top, too much gold, etc., for the US market. Well, here you go! The Bank is a basic (but beautiful) modular building for your brick city. And there is no level of difficulty whatsoever. This is building blocks 101. A beginner's set.

The third floor has more detail than the second and maybe slightly more than the first. But you'll find a lot of empty space where you may expect furniture, or other details.

The printed parts are all very well done.

The chandelier will be a highlight for many.

Yet again, there's an unfortunate lack of plants or any kind of greenery, both indoors and out.

I'm interested to hear what others think. There is plenty of room for MOC'ing things up. I know I'll be adding my own lights.

Of course the bricks are of top quality, and I included a picture of what is a new GoBricks color, to me at least. It's a cream color and takes up a good portion of the parts.

There is no bathroom.

Verdict

I'll end by saying that this is NOT a negative review. It's a beautiful building and was an enjoyable build. Did it "feel" like Pantasy? Honestly, no. But they are trying something different to satisfy certain customers and hopefully bring in some new ones. I applaud them for that.

Pantasy kept it simple with this one. And they did it very well.
