Option 1: In the app

1. Log in to BrickNexus.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2: By email

If you can't access your account, email team@bricknexus.net from the email address linked to your BrickNexus account with the subject line "Delete my account." We'll confirm and permanently delete your account within 30 days.

1. Overview

BrickNexus is an independent, non-commercial, informational fan application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brands, manufacturers, or trademark holders referenced within the app.

2. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, product names, logos, and product images (including official product photography) displayed in BrickNexus are the property of their respective owners. Such materials are used for informational and identification purposes only.

BrickNexus does not claim ownership of third-party content and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any rights holders.

Any original content created for BrickNexus, including text, design, and compilation of information, is protected by applicable copyright laws and may not be reproduced without permission.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use BrickNexus for lawful, personal, and informational purposes only. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content from the app without permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the app
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. User Content

If you submit or store content within BrickNexus, you retain ownership of your content. By using the app, you grant BrickNexus a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the app.

You agree not to upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

6. Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us promptly.

7. Content Disclaimer

All information provided in BrickNexus is for general informational purposes only. While efforts are made to ensure accuracy, no guarantees are made regarding completeness, reliability, or accuracy.

8. Limitation of Liability

BrickNexus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app's creator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

9. Changes to the App

BrickNexus may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

10. Takedown Requests

If you are a rights holder and believe that content within BrickNexus infringes your rights, please contact team@bricknexus.net. Upon review, appropriate action will be taken.

11. Privacy

BrickNexus requires user accounts to access certain features. Account and usage data may be processed and stored by a third-party platform used to operate the app (e.g., Base44).

BrickNexus does not independently collect, sell, or use personal data outside of what is necessary to provide the app's functionality. Data handling, storage, and security measures may be governed in part by the third-party platform's policies.

By using BrickNexus, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by such third-party services. For more information, you should review the applicable third-party privacy policies.

12. Termination

Access to BrickNexus, including user accounts, may be suspended or terminated at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

1. Who We Are

BrickNexus ("we", "us", "the app") is an independent collection tracker for brick-building enthusiasts. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: email address, display name, and authentication provider (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, or email/password). We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by our platform provider (Base44) or the OAuth provider you sign in with.

Content you create: sets you add to your collection or wishlist, notes, tags, ratings, photos you upload, blog comments, and community submissions. This content is stored so we can display it back to you.

Usage data: pages visited, feature interactions, and error logs — used only to operate and improve the app. No advertising identifiers are collected.

Device information: your IP address and general device/browser info are logged by our platform provider for security and abuse prevention. We do not use this data for tracking across other apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the core features of the app (your collection, wishlists, analytics)
• Authenticate you and secure your account
• Send you transactional emails (welcome, contribution status, password reset)
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve reliability and diagnose bugs

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal data
• We do not use your data for third-party advertising
• We do not track you across other apps or websites
• We do not share your collection contents publicly unless you explicitly enable a public profile
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA / AAID)

5. Public Profile & Sharing

By default, your collection is private. If you choose to share your public profile link, only basic set details (name, brand, piece count, image, and status) are visible. Purchase prices, purchase dates, personal notes, and storage locations are always private and never shown on public profiles.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties to operate the app:

• Base44 — hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook — optional OAuth sign-in providers
• Amazon Associates — outbound affiliate links (Amazon may set cookies when you click through)

Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and content until you delete them. You can delete individual sets and photos at any time from within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use the "Delete Account" button on the Account page — this is immediate and irreversible.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data (available in-app)
• Export your data (available in-app via the Account page)
• Object to certain processing

9. Children's Privacy

BrickNexus is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on our platform provider's infrastructure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no online service is 100% secure.

11. International Users

BrickNexus is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the US, you consent to your data being processed in the US and other jurisdictions where our providers operate.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the latest revision.
